Tap Dance Prague Fest 2020
Tap Academy Prague presents its 1st edition of the International Tapdance festival in Prague.
Rhythms from all over the world, Brazilian temperament, American classics, British elegance, Swiss charm and Czech tradition will get together in the atmosphere of magical Prague with our best tap dancers.
Czech audience will have a unique opportunity to explore tap dance trends not only from all over the world but also in various art forms . Musical productions, theater performances, spectacular Brazilian show or a chamber dance experience, performed by the outstanding Swiss dancer Daniel Borak can be found on our festival program.
The European premiere of the Brazilian – American show B.r.U.s. will take place in LaFabrika, performed by Brazilian dancer, saxophonist and actress Christiane Matallo and American musician Jim Hamilton.
The festival will also include unique workshops Anatomy of rhythm and sound, professional masterclasses s for all levels rhythm workshops for children and lectures on history of Tapdance worldwide.
For competitive people there will be a Battle Contest „Make it TAP!“(Valuable prizes are available for the winners).
The accompanying events will also include classic tap jams and flashmobs.
Both general public and professional dancers will be able to enjoy this unique dance in its various art forms.
For guests coming from abroad we can provide accommodation in walking distance at reasonable prices.
